Seventeenth century formal landscape park at Chilston Park house, re-landscaped during 18th century. The park is planted with scattered trees with woodland on the southwest borders. Landscaping started during the late 17th century, possibly 1660s and surviving features include a double tree avenue and ponds. Mid 18th century landscaping included the creation of the lake and ha ha. Late 19th century planting included trees and a shrubbery. Further planting was carried out during the 1930s. Lawns, a pool and 1980s formal bedding is present by the house. Buildings in the park include a conservatory, offices and stables, all 18th century in date. The walled kitchen garden was redeveloped in 1950s.
