BURTON AND SWADLINCOTE BRANCH RAILWAY
Dismantled railway to Swadlincote. The course of the Midland Railway to Swadlincote, which was opened in 1864, extended to Woodville in 1883 and Moira (on the Burton-Leicester main line) in 1884 (SK31NW96), was closed to passengers in 1947.
