Possible Prehistoric or Roman rectilinear ditched enclosures, pits and trackaways are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. A trackway, defined by double ditches measuring 180m, appears to extend between the remains of incomplete, but apparently conjoined, enclosures which measure 95m across on average. The enclosures extend over a rectangular area measuring 120m by 140m. Three more short lengths of double ditch, measuring up to 80m long may be the remains of more trackways. Twelve pits are scattered amongst the enclosures.
