BERRINGTON PARK

Landscape park to Berrington Hall created by Lancelot Brown from 1780 until his death in 1783. His design was completed by Christian Sanderson in 1806. Much of Browns original layout still survives. The gardens were improved during the second half of the 19th century. A formal garden was planted in 1887 and improved circa 1901.
