Cottage, late 18th century, framed, cased in red brick with a tiled mansard roof. Of one storey and attic, the bay at the west end was formerly a a bakers shop. At the rear is a bakehouse; a brick at the door of the bakehouse is inscribed G. S. 1815, perhaps in reference to a member of the Sarl family whose descendant were still baking here in 1922 and probably its date of construction. In the late 19th century the cottage was fronted in brick and the bakehouse heightened and remodelled.
