Boundary wall running East West within Pondsbury tenement, Lundy
A stretch of relict walling, lying to the east of the main track and running eastwards from the most northerly point of 108238 towards the cliff. Occasional stone visible along its length, but mostly turf-covered. Its easterly end is more orthostatic, with large stones sunken into the marshy ground. Height of wall/bank - c50cms; width, c3m. The alignment of this wall/bank corresponds with that of bank, 108236, which lies west of the track, and it is possible that this line once formed a northern limit of the Pondsbury tenement enclosure. Alternativley, it may have once formed part of the relict field system in this area.
