Medieval manor house, possibly also a hospice at one time. The house dates from the late 15th century, though possibly incorporating some 14th century fabric, and was altered and extended in the early 19th century. The present building comprises the great hall, originally open, with the high end to the north and the services to the south. A garderobe wing with privy tower is attached to the south. A late 15th century chapel was recorded in the early 18th century but has since been demolished. Excavations have revealed evidence of a cellared building to the north of the present house, possibly also dating from the late 15th century.
