Site of settlement on Greenbury Beck 370 metres S of Fell Foot Farm
A deserted medieval farmstead consisting of the substantial remains of a house. The house measures 64 by 24 feet with enclosures to the north and west, a boulder lined roadway runs east from the house as far as a modern field wall. A stone kiln to the north west is on the north bank of Greenburn Beck at Long Intakes, Little Langdale. There is little documentary evidence for the site has been found, though there are possible industrial links with Hacket forge further down the valley (Claris, P.D. 1984).
