A quantity of prehistoric, Roman and Medieval flint and pottery plus other items were found in 1964 in the garden of 9, The Cresent, Egham. A general scatter of material has also been recovered from neighbouring gardens.

Air photographs show vague cropmarks of at least one ring ditch or oval enclosure with a number of short lengths of linear ditch near by. Within this area a large quantity of flint tools has been found including scrapers, blades and cores.
