An interrupted linear ditch is visible as cropamrks on aerial photographs. The ditch appears to represent a field boundary, possibly of Late Prehistoric or Roman date.

A linear ditch of unknown date following the line of the parish boundary. The feature was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the RCHME: Salisbury Plain Training Area NMP project, and subsequently revised for the English Heritage Stonehenge WHS Mapping Project.

Eighty-seven evaluation trenches were excavated recording a rectangular enclosure containing Iron Age pottery, Roman pits and ditches, boundaries, trackways, and a curvilinear ditch which contained prehistoric pottery.
