PRIORY FARM

Calcetto Priory was a 12th century house for Augustian canons founded by Queen Adelisa. The Priory was suppressed in 1534 and now only a portion of a square tower, constructed of 13th century stone rubble and flints, survives. Currently in use as a farmhouse.
