Probable Iron Age settlement (twelve hut circles, enclosures, ditches, field system, field boundaries and pits) seen as cropmarks. Located on the west part of Port Meadow. The majority of the hut circles are clustered along the bank of the River Thames.

Mesolithic microlith found along with late Bronze Age urns. Iron Age and Roman gullies, ditches and pits were found and a hut circle enclosure. 5th century Saxon burials were found with pottery and metalwork.
